Acreage / Lot Size:	1 acre - mostly woodlot!
Garden Sq. Ft.:	700 square feet of growing beds
Main Crops:	I produce 100% of my family's vegetable needs. Practice four season gardening and harvesting. Blessed to live in Cascadia Northwest which has a mild maritime climate that makes this easier than our old homestead in central Washington did. Do not grow grains or dried legumes - know how to do both but have too limited of space with adequate sun on our current homestead and opt instead to buy these from local growers. Periodically grow dried beans in an amount sufficient to keep my saved seed stock viable and fresh (emergency seed reserve!). Grow 100% of our vegetables and about 40% of our fruit needs on our property.
